Everyone Can Use Vocera!
The Vocera system adds functions for everyone and everything on site in some form. From easily reaching people by just knowing their name or department, or getting real time updates of your dose or project completion. More efficient communication without having to remember any numbers. To get help just press your button and say "Genie Help".

Using Vocera Without a Badge
You're not left out if you do not have a badge or are offsite. You can still access many of the features from your desk phone or cell phone. You can even set your profile to have it come to your desk or cell phone when someone calls you by name within Vocera.

Wireless Headsets Available
OpenComm Bluetooth Bone Conduction, lighweight ISOTunes and High Noise Sensear Headsets are available for use with Vocera. Both of these are able to be used with a hardhat.

Remember you can always press your call button and say “Play Welcome Tutorial” for a quick refresher of how to make calls on the badge.
***Badge Etiquette 101***
1) The person who initiates the call should hang up the call. This allows the receiving person to remain hands free.
2) The person who receives the call should speak first saying their neame after accepting the call. This let the know they are ready to talk.
3) When making a broadcast call, remember to press your call button again when you are done to terminate the broadcast.
